Sioux Falls Pride
Sioux Falls Pride is South Dakotas largest LGBT Pride Festival. This event takes place annually, at Terrace Park in Sioux Falls, SD. Sioux Falls Pride or SuFuPride is planned by a team of volunteer committee members.
My duties include:
- Create a strategic marketing plan to increase attendance and raise awareness on local and national level
- Budget management for print and online marketing costs
- Direct print and online marketing design
- Manage media relations with local television, radio and print organizations such as: Keloland, KDLT, Hot 104.7, 605 Magazine and the Argus Leader
- Craft content for social media and websites
Accomplishments from 2017
- Established relationships with new media groups
- Created the first ever Hot 104.7 Pride Playlist with DJ KOR
- Grew attendance from 8,000 to nearly 10,000
- Coordinated nearly a dozen Pride Week Events throughout the month of June
- Feature interview in "Faces of Pride" by USA Today
